This six-acre research complex for Sai Life Sciences is located within a larger knowledge park, adjacent to two public landscape amenities of the park that lie on the site’s southern edge: a water harvesting pond and a “Garden of Life.” 

The design takes advantage of this by a locating its own central landscape on the southern boundary, with a main circulation spine that directs views toward the landscape. A set of medicinal chemistry laborato- ries lie along this spine which connects common amenities to the east and an animal house plus other research.
