YASHODA HOSPITAL

Yashoda hospital is conceptualized as a space that stimulates a feeling of relief & comfort, the concept breathes close to nature seeking similarities from it; the architecture is inspired to create a ‘Medical Park’. Each activity of the hospital is characterized by different courts in the form of Garden of Care as the Entrance, Garden of Hope as Emergency, Garden of Prayer as Critical Activities and Garden of Solace as Living Spaces. The auxiliary hospital activities respond to these courts as nuclei which help in organizing the public and private hierarchies. The connection to these courts creates the Wellness Path. The entire massing is divided into three sections vertically and horizontally. A gradual break up is created at the Ground Level with the help of a triple height entrance and staggering cutouts with receding floor plates on the above floors.
